Listening Post

The Listening Post is up and running

A new listening service has become available to the public.
A team of trained Christian listeners are on hand for anyone who wishes to talk in absolute confidence about anything that is concerning them.

Mary Spinks, who is the team leader, said, "We are not claiming to be able to solve people's problems but often they just need a sympathetic 'ear' to be able to confide in".

This service is closely linked to the Healing Service that is held in St Wilfrid's Church on the first Wednesday in the month at 7pm. The Healing Service offers a quiet reflective 40 minutes where you can step back from this busy world and find healing peace and reconciliation.
